Now, virtually everyone can have beautiful white teeth safely, effectively and conveniently.

All whitening systems are based on hydrogen peroxide solutions; the only difference in the hundreds of systems out there is the concentration and the way the solution is applied to your teeth. There are two main ways of carrying out tooth whitening:

• Surgery based (also known as laser or power bleaching): here, more concentrated gels are applied directly to your teeth and accelerated with heat or light (laser/power). The latest system from USA is called Zoom 2. It involves placing the gel on your teeth and activating it with an LED light. A 45 minute appointment is needed with the results guaranteed.
• Tray based: the gel is placed in a custom made night-guard worn for at least an hour for 7-10 nights. Your upper and lower teeth can be treated together or on separate nights.
